Rocky has been a dream of mine since my teenage years. However, it was the birth of my son that finally motivated my partner and I to bring Rocky back to life. Named after Rocky Point, Torquay, Rocky began in 2012 as a handmade surfboard brand. We had a core community of people that appreciated the rudimentary and cheeky approach to alternative surf craft design or “backyard handjobs” as we liked to call them. Now Rocky is back but instead of surfboards we are reshaping the world of beach essentials.
We want everyday to have a little bit of luxury.
Sustainability is a top priority for us, which led us to search extensively until we found a manufacturer that aligns with our stringent standards. We chose to partner with a company in Turkey that exclusively produces 100% natural, eco-friendly products, all of which are recyclable. Their production processes minimize energy and water consumption. They uphold ethical standards by sourcing input materials responsibly, never compromising on quality or purchasing below market prices. Additionally, they recycle all production waste and adhere to a strict zero-waste policy. By locally sourcing all materials, they reduce transportation, unnecessary packaging, and waste while ensuring higher quality materials.
